Ice Air would like to thank L & M Development Partners, Beyer Blinder Belle and everyone involved for choosing Ice Air equipment in your design of the National Urban League headquarters in New York.
The Prusik Group, BRP Companies, L+M Development Partners and Taconic Partners developed the mixed-use complex, which has a six-story retail and office podium along 125th Street between Malcolm X and Adam Clayton Powell boulevards and a 17-story residential tower on the north side facing 126th Street. The 125th Street side of the Beyer Blinder Belle-designed development is glass, with two stories featuring vertical fins along the glass panels, while the setback apartment tower is clad in gray EIFS panels and gray brick.
Ice Air’s breakthrough cold climate technology was selected because it is a paradigm shift. It allows Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps (PTHPs) to efficiently provide space heating down to -5°F and below. And our advanced Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology ensures that your unit is pinpointing the exact amount of heating or cooling required for the desired room conditions. Efficient, sustainable, heat pumps designed for cold climates are finally a reality.
